I’m a bit nerdy. I read comics as a kid, I’m not going to lie. Hell, I read them sometimes now. But I’ve been waiting a long time for some of my favorite characters to hit the big screen. (I’ve also been dreading it, considering how most comic book films blow.)
One character on the top of my list to see on screen has been Thor. I’ve been patiently awaiting footage since it was announced forever ago. Well, a few days ago at Comic Con in San Diego the nerds were given a little taste, but it has taken forever for the footage to make its way to us losers that didn’t get to go to Comic Con.
Well it’s finally here, but it might not last too long. I don’t believe this is the “official” release. There are several sites that have already pulled the footage. So watch it while you can.
I know movies like this exist. This one just makes me laugh so much. How ridiculous. Wonder if it will become the most successful straight to DVD release.
Check out this amazing Inception infographic from Deviant Art. It helps to visualize some of the events from the last part of the movie. I don’t know how much it clears up for some people, but it’s a nice start. Check out my review here.
My fiancée was out-of-town this past weekend. Which meant a lot of pizza, the toilet seat stayed up, and I could finally watch all the shitty horror and action movies that she’s too smart to waste her time on.
I’m almost embarrassed to mention how many movies I watched this weekend and how bad each of them was, but I don’t need to impress anyone. I’ve already convinced one crazy girl to spend the rest of her life with me. So here goes…
I’ll save us all time by not discussing each but I will list them:
There are only a few movies left this year that I’m truly excited about seeing, and Tron: Legacy is one of them. Yesterday at Comic-Con Disney released their third trailer for the film. Now we find out a little more about the plot. I think the funniest thing about this preview is that Bruce Boxleitner continues to [...]
BE CAREFUL OF SPOILERS BELOW. The world has cooled on The Matrix. It came, made a big splash, then two sequels followed and the world felt as if they overreacted to the first. However, no matter your opinion The Matrix was a pivotal film in the history of cinema. It was the Star Wars of a generation. [...]
Thanks to the guys at Ain’t It Cool News for drawing attention to this bizarre movie. I’m a little thrown by the premise but intrigued at the same time because it sounds so dumb that I’m surprised anyone was able to pull it out. Rubber is the story of a killer tire. Ain’t It Cool [...]
Once a year, maybe twice if I’m lucky, a film comes along that reinforces my beliefs that film can be great once again. You know before Star Wars came along and screwed up the 70s and made Hollywood realize that movies equal money, and that story was no longer important. That’s a different blog. Last year [...]
It might not be shitty, but this is like remaking “The Godfather.” You just don’t do it. Chloe Moretz looks like she might follow up her Kick-Ass role as Hit Girl with something impressive. We’ll see. And if you have Netflix and haven’t see “Let the Right One In” you’re insane. Watch it now on Instant! [...]
