For My Sister: Twilight Eclipse Trailer Released

by Red Beard on March 11, 2010

I made a deal with my sister over Thanksgiving that I’d see New Moon with her if she went to see Fantastic Mr. Fox with me. The thing I forgot about was that I hadn’t seen the first Twilight movie. So I had to watch both of them. If you factor in my compulsion to complete any film/series I watch, no matter how bad, I really screwed myself in this deal. (I still have one season of Gilmore Girls to go. Oh and Lost.) Anyway, here is the trailer for the new Twilight movie Eclipse.

blah

Now I’ve never read the books. But is that red headed girl supposed to be some sort of badass? In the first film she was the side kick of the main antagonist. She was mentioned in the second film but I’m not really scared of her. Can someone explain it to me? Am I supposed to be worried about some future standoff between her and Bella?

I know, I know I shouldn’t ask questions because the movies make no sense anyway. It’s supposed to just be about Robert Pattison taking advantage of an underage girl, but I’d still like to understand the plot.

I read the second book and half of the third and then quit b/c it was ridiculously overdramatic and she was an idiot. Who would pick Edward over the hot werewolf kid? Not me.
(No jokes necessary here, Red Beard!)
And I won't be seeing the next couple movies, at least not until they're reruns on TNT.

I am glad you are willing to see it through to the end. I do have to say that the books are so much better. But I am sure you do not want to commit to that.
  • I am not glad that I'm going to see it through. Someone please explain to me what is the big deal about this story. Please, I'm begging you.
