I like her too. In interviews she's spunky and has an attitude that I find refreshing. However, it's not a popularity contest. You don't get an award because you like them. You get it because you're great at acting. Sandra Bullock's award is much like Julia Roberts' award for Erin Brockovich. These women are loved by America. But they have no true depth as actresses. They are put on this planet for romantic comedies and that's it. <br><br>As far as her speech. Wasn't it a little ironic that she talked about how her momma taught her that no one was better than anyone else, yet she was holding an award that said she was the Best Actress in the room? We are friends. I respect your opinion. I will also continue to read this blog dispite disagreement. But, I must say that I love Sandra Bullock and her acceptance speech, in my opinoin, was the best (full disclosure: I cried, more than a little). Although, here I suppose I should confess that I have not yet seen The Blind Side.... So, I defer to you, knower of all things film related. Uhm. We are friends. I respect your opinion.
