Jon Stewart vs. Fox News on O’Reilly, Round 1

Jon Stewart is kind of my hero. I don’t always agree with him but he puts things into perspective. As much as people want to label him as a leftist liberal, he’s as close to middle as you can get. He calls bullshit when he sees it.

Tonight he went on Fox News to speak will Bill O’Reilly. They discussed Obama and debated on how “fair and balanced” Fox really is. Be sure and tell us what you think about Stewart and O’Reilly’s discussion in the comments.

    Why is Stewart sticking to his funny guy persona? Why does he take that shit from Bill? That shit about him being an important and influencial person, what an out-right dick!

    Why doen't he insist on doing this live? Is there really so much missing from the editing?

    Also, is he forgetting who he's talking to? He is using language that the typical FOX News viewer can easily dismiss because it's so different from how O'Rielly is speaking…although eloquent, too high man, too high.

    I am so angry at this 'O'Reilly' guy. Who does he think he is? I have never watched his show and he has made it so I never will. Jon Stewart is extremely smart AND funny AND witty AND clever. Something this O'Reilly guy isn't and he's probably just jealous.

    I agree with VaginaBeard (?) below. Why does Jon take this shit? He should punch O'Reilly in the face.

    I would also like to say that 1. I do not smoke weed and 2. I do not slack, but 3. I do love Obama.

    This O'Reilly guy? Do you not know ol' Bill? Now I know for a fact that you've been living under a rock for the last three years but he's been around longer than that. For the record I also don't smoke weed, I'm a bit of a slacker, and I voted for Obama. Which was the right choice. However, I believe he has yet to live up to his own hype.
